Books are a great way to encourage reading in Children and also fosters good habits in 3 to 5 year olds.

1. Books about Feelings
Preschool kids often try to navigate their feelings. Reading about feelings help them open up and have some great conversations about feelings and emotions.
2. Books for Phonics Learners
By the age of 4 most of the kids are aware of few words and sight words.
Books are the best way to raise a reader.
These books encourage reading and are definitely a must have for Preschoolers
The level 1 books have easy to read CVC words.
3. Fiction Picture Books
A picture book is a book, typically for children, in which the illustrations are as important as—or more important than—the words in telling the story.
4. Folktales/ Bedtime Reads
The Panchatantra is an ancient Indian collection of interrelated animal fables.
These are great bedtime books where each story has a moral.
5. Mythological Books
Hindu Mythology is full of knowledgeable stories.
It teaches them about the culture and teaches moral values to kids.
